Boundaries

A therapist can 100% help you learn about boundaries and start applying them. It’s not easy at first, at least it wasn’t for me, and it’s nice to have someone help you navigate it all. This process will be helped tremendously by doing the Thoughts & Feelings work too. Being able to identify what you’re feeling in a particular situation, and why, is critical to identifying boundaries you need.

Most importantly, this is a skill you will develop and continue to use throughout your life. We need boundaries for ourselves and others in all types of relationships - work, family, friends, romantic relationships, social media, etc. It’s actually an enormous concept that has lots of tentacles. While it may be awkward and challenging at first, it does get easier, and the rewards are amazing.
